Chiefs to Fans: Sit on It

Chiefs to ban standing at all football games...good luck trying that at Jets games.

It is probably embedded somewhere in every NFL team's rules for fans, but only the Kansas City Chiefs have decided to take a stand and make people sit down (how about that ironic wordplay).

This is one of the more ridiculous things I have ever heard of. During any type of big play or closing minutes of a game, everyone stands up And if they can't stand, they have someone put them on their shoulders.

I can't wait until they try this at New York Jet games. The king of all standing, "Fireman" Ed (apparently fires that occur between 1 and 4pm on Sundays in the fall are not of his concern), who stands an average of 145.8 times per game, would be outraged.

I ain't never sitting down, wanna fight about it?

Let's not forget that the average Jet fan is completely intoxicated before kickoff meaning they are less than likely to follow rules. I'm sure this will rule will die down eventually once they realize how ridiculous it is.
