Georgia star running back Knowshon Moreno, who made the folks in Athens dust off their Hershel Walker memories, has declared for the NFL draft along with rocket-arm quarterback Matthew Stafford.

In just two years, Knowshon sits fourth on Georiga's all-time rushing list at 2,734 yards to go along with a host of ridiculous plays - including his hurdling of a defender earlier this year and his airplane dive over the goaline at Arizona State.

The decision hits home for HHR. Moreno is a New Jersey native and shares an alma mater with yours truly- football powerhouse Middletown High School South.

One current mock draft would have 'Shon going at #19 to the New York Jets. Personally, nothing would bring a bigger smile to my face than seeing a bunch of wasted Jets fans 3 hours before kickoff in their Moreno jerseys. Unfortunately I feel he may get picked higher. Let the countdown to April begin.
