Change: Curt Schilling Likens Mass. GOP Senate Victory to "Comeback/Upset of 2004 Proportions"

Once speculated to be interested in running for Teddy Kennedy's old US Senate seat himself, former MLB pitcher and current WEEI blogger Curt Schilling announced today his endorsement of state Sen. Scott Brown.
If this state does the right thing, and elects Scott Brown, it will, in addition to being a comeback/upset of 2004 proportions, put a screeching halt to the Democratic parties fast tracking this country into an abyss.

What Government run/funded program in this countries history has ever been run with an ounce of financial responsibility, prudence, or with the peoples best interest at the forefront? None, that’s which one.

The Kennedys and Schillings Not Much Different, Really

According to Curt Schilling's 38 Pitches Blog at WEEI, the retired MLBer is looking to become the latest in a long line of Senators from Massachusetts to "earn" his seat based on little more than his last name and the fact that he has lots and lots of money.

From Curt's - or should I say Sen. Schilling's - post:
While my family is obviously the priority, and 38 Studios is a priority, I do have some interest in the possibility. That being said, to get to there from where I am today, many many things would have to align themselves for that to truly happen. I am not going to comment further on the matter since at this point it would be speculation on top of speculation.

My hope is that whatever happens, and whomever it happens to, this state makes the decision and chooses the best person, regardless of sex, race, religion or political affiliation, to help get this state back to the place it deserves to be.

Schilling Wants Gamers to Bludgeon Foes with Bloody Sock

GamePro.com reports that that Curt Schilling's game development company 38 Studios is developing a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) titled "Copernicus."

In the latest episode of the Jace Hall Show, Schilling "talked briefly about his new game development company, 38 studios...Though details are scarce...the most powerful weapon in the game is rumored to be a bloody sock (for real), a reference to the 2004 ALCS in which Schilling pitched in a bloody sock due to leaky sutures on his ankle."

Copernicus is the father of Copernican Revolution, which placed Earth at the center of the Universe. Sounds eerily similiar to Schillings opinion of his life and career.
