Great Web Find: MJ Circa '86

Ethan from NESW Sports & SEC Football Blogger
passed this along. The amazing part is not just that he shattered the board, but he did so after taking off from about a foot within the charity stripe with a defender (who looks like an emaciated Johnny Damon) in his face. Bonus points for the 80's buddy-cop comedy soundtrack.

RUWT?

"How many instant classic have you missed?"

A few weeks ago, we noted a great little website that was referred to us: areyouwatchingthis.com.

For those of you who haven't yet tried it, after initial skepticism on our part that it was perhaps too good to be true, we have been nothing but happy with this free "service."

To recap what we said in the initial post, the program will:
email or text you "games going into overtime, ranked teams getting upset, no-hitters through 7, or anything else you need to get your butt on the couch for." (Essentially classics in the making).
Luckily, we stumbled upon it just in time to coincide with the start of the MLB playoffs and the NFL season.

Because you put in your zip code and cable provider, not only does it alert you to whats going on and why it's relevant (i.e. "Close Finish"), but it also tells you what channel to turn to.

Try it. You'll like it.

Webfind

Crackberry addicts and texters, brace yourselves. We were lucky to be forwarded the following site, and have wondered where it's been all our lives.

According to the site, that little robot fella over there will email or text you "games going into overtime, ranked teams getting upset, no-hitters through 7, or anything else you need to get your butt on the couch for." (Essentially classics in the making). It even customizes your alerts to your location and cable/satellite provider.

Great concept. Hopefully the product is as good as the idea. We'll give it a go.
